現代仏教アートとは、仏教の智慧を
現代の空間表現として伝えるアートです。
宗教を教えることではなく、
人が自分自身の心と静かに向き合う時間を
生み出すことを目的としています。
仏像、光、影、音、墨、和紙など
日本文化の美意識を用い、
鑑賞するだけではなく「体験する作品」を
制作しています。
孤独、不安、執着、感謝、許し――
言葉では表現しきれない心の動きを、
インスタレーションという形で可視化し、
作品を通して新たな気づきを届けます。

仏教の智慧と日本文化の美しさを
現代へ継承し、国内外へ発信することで、
芸術を通じた心の平和と対話の場を

私は仏教を教えたいのでは

その為の表現のひとつが
インスタレーション。
光・音・空間・仏像・墨・香りを用いた
五感で感じる現代仏教アートです。

宗教として語るのではなく、
芸術として体験し、
その先で一人ひとりが何かを感じ、問い、
自ら答えを見つけていく。

現代仏教アートは、
心と向き合うための体験を
創造する、新しい表現のかたちです。

I do not seek to teach Buddhism.

I create experiences that invite people
to quietly encounter
their own hearts and minds.
Through light, sound, space,
Buddhist imagery, ink, and fragrance,

The work offers no fixed answer.

飲食ブランド「信長から揚げとりか」を立ち上げ、第17回からあげグランプリ中日本しょうゆダレ部門において4年連続金賞を受賞。数々の監修を手掛ける。

実業家として培った創造力と経営経験に加え、音楽・絵画・空間演出・声の表現など、長年にわたり磨いてきた多彩な芸術表現を融合。そして、東本願寺僧侶として学ぶ仏教思想を礎に、仏像・墨・光・音・映像・空間を用いた体験型インスタレーション作品を制作している。

作品は「鑑賞するもの」ではなく、自分自身の心と静かに向き合うための体験として構成される。仏教の智慧を現代アートという表現へ昇華し、国内外へ発信。芸術を通して、人々の心に新たな気づきと対話を生み出す活動を続けている。

Ranmaru Morimoto is a Contemporary Buddhist Artist whose practice combines Buddhist philosophy with installation, spatial design, sound, and visual expression.

Drawing on his experience in both business and the arts, he creates immersive works using Buddhist imagery, ink, light, sound, video, and space.
His work invites people to pause, reflect, and encounter themselves through art.
